Tammy Could Damage Chris & Brittany’s Marriage
Too Close For Comfort?
With Tammy blowing up her living situation, she suddenly found herself with no place to live. As usual, another member of the Slaton family came to her rescue. This time, it was her brother, Chris. As the only brother to his four sisters, Chris is the patriarch of the family. Whilemany of the Slatons haven’t been lucky in love, Chris is happily married to 36-year-old Brittany Combs. The couple had just bought the house next door to their own, with the intention of turning it into an investment property.
With Tammy needing a place to live, Chris decided to offer the place to Tammy.

This concerned Brittany, who pointed out that Tammy had lived with other family members, and it had ended badly. Though Chris is fully aware of Tammy’s history, he would never let any member of his family end up homeless. WhenChris brought Tammy over to show her the house, she too expressed concern aboutcausing trouble for Chris and Brittany. At least Tammy has some self-awareness. For his part, Chris made it clear that though he’d do his best to help take care of his sister, he wouldn’t let anything come between him and his wife.
This isn’t a long-term solution to Tammy’s living situation. The1000-lb Sistersseason 6 star recently expressed interest in leaving Kentucky for good. She’s ironically trying to get away from her family, despite being the common denominator in most instances of the Slatons' family conflicts. If Tammy does ever leave Kentucky, she may come to discover that wherever she goes, there she is.
