One of them showed a port-a-cath that could be seen inserted on the right side of Taeyang’s chest. Deavan started a GoFundMe as she needed financial help with the toddler’s chemotherapy and other treatments. They were trying to raise $50,000 and got close as they raised almost $43,133 until it was closed.
There were times in the last two years when Taeyang faced several rough patches on his road to recovery. Taeyang was in and out of hospitals. His health declined in December 2023 with Taeyang having to be taken to the ER. Deavan revealed Taeyang’s health had taken a turn for the worse, and he was running a 103.8-degree fever. Deavan revealed that Jihoon had not even attempted to communicate with his son despite being told that Taeyang had leukemia.Deavan insisted she had never withheld their son from Jihoon, and yet he chose not to get involved.
