Below Deck Down Underis returning in less than two weeks, but according to a preview, there’s a feud starting to brew between two cast members. AsBelow Deck Sailing Yachtseason 5gets ready to air its finale, attention is starting to turn toBelow Deck Down Underseason 3. This comes amid a lot ofconfusion over whyDown Underis filmingin Seychelles, which is not in Australia. The spin-off is calledDown Underfor a reason; the nickname “down under” refers specifically to Australia and New Zealand, not to just any country south of the equator.
Below Deck Down Under’s chef Tzarina Mace-Ralph and chief stew Lara Rigby show some tension right off the boat, based on their history together.

Bravoreleased a preview of theBelow Deck Down Underseason 3 premiere, which sees Captain Jason Chambers meet and reunite with the crew he’s going to work with during the upcoming charter season, including Chef Tzarina Mace-Ralph and Aesha Scott’s chief stew replacement Lara Rigby. It turns out the two women already know each other, but tension is bubbling to the surface right from the start. WhileTzarina is excited to be roommate with Lara because she’s the “cool girl,” the chief stew has some reservations, saying, “I’m like Barbie and she’s like Weird Barbie.”
Lara reveals that when they worked together before, “not everyone liked Tzarina. She’s an acquired taste.” The chief stew does admit that Tzarina is a good person behind all the quirkiness, though. Despite wanting to be roommates with Lara, the chef had her own admission to divulge: they did “clash heads a little bit,“adding that they work better as “off-the boat friendships.” Tzarina claims that they’ve matured, and Lara awkwardly says that she’s sure everything will be fine, though it doesn’t seem like she believes her own words.

Tzarina Seems To Think Lara Has Matured
Most of the time,Below Deckcast members are meeting each other for the very first time on the show itself. Any feuding or tension between them tends to get created as the season unfolds.
