Summary
Superman’s signature S is a symbol of hope — and also the crest of his family heritage. Hailing from Krypton, his father, Jor-El, was a famous scientist and a purportedly good man. That is, that’s what Clark Kent has always believed up until this moment. It’s possible DC is giving Jor-El an updated role in Superman lore, and it could make him one of the Man of Steel’s villains.
In the upcomingAction Comics#1074-1076,three parts of a major storyline by Mark Waid and Clayton Henry,Superman will undergo a fundamental changeto his lore. In this upcoming story, which is part of the DC All In initiative, Superman is destined to fall back in time and into his father’s lab, and it won’t just be a tearful reunion awaiting the Man of Steel.
