The camera then pulls back, revealing Teen to be wearing a crown of blue. This crown is very similar to that of the Scarlet Witch, confirming Teen as Billy Kaplan. The trial of the Witches' Road inAgatha All Alongepisode 5’s ending saw the ghost of Agatha’s mother, Evanora, appear to take revenge on her daughter for murdering her during the Salem Witch Trials. This event was shown inWandaVisionand led to Agatha being possessed by her mother inAgatha All Alongepisode 5. In an attempt to save her, Alice blasted Agatha with her magical power to exorcise Evanora’s ghost. There have now been several teases of Lady Death appearing in the MCU, which is exciting given the powerful being’s rich Marvel Comics history.
As Billy was having his fateful showdown with the other three witches, Rio was nowhere to be seen. This is another hint at her true identity as Lady Death, as she was likely dealing with the newly dead body and spirit of Alice Wu-Gulliver. Rio was shown stealing notable glances towards Alice’s body after her death, as, if the theory is indeed true, it is her job to deal with the dead. This would explain why she was absent from the final scene, as she undoubtedly would have tried to save Agatha from Teen only to kill her herself later.

However, Billy would certainly make sense as an antagonist to Agatha, given the bad blood between the latter and Billy’s mother. That said, Billy eventually becomes Wiccan and one of theYoung Avengers members, meaning his depiction as a villain makes little sense.
