Legendary armor and headgear inAssassin’s Creed Shadowsare found across every major region and can be acquired by completing many of the side and main quests and activities. There are four main types of armor: light, regular, helmets, and headgear. Light armor and headgear are Naoe’s armor types, while regular armor and helmets are equipped by Yasuke. As with all legendary gear, when you collect an item, you’ll also acquire the engraving associated with that item’s effect. You can also slot one engraving to give your armor an additional effect.
Similar tolegendary weapons inAC Shadows, many of the legendary armor pieces are acquired during Naoe and Yasuke’s main progression through the story. However, you’ll also need to visit certain Kofuns, clear forts and castles, and complete side quests and target boards to obtain every legendary armor piece available. Both armor types and headgear/helmets have a range of effects that can sometimes change your build and playstyle entirely. You can reset your skill points at any time for free, so if you find a new piece of armor you really like, consider re-speccing around it.
