There are several leaked characters forGenshin Impact5.3, which point to what seems likea fruitful update for players to update their team comps and try out completely new strategies thanks to the abilities provided by these upcoming units. The action RPG by HoYoverse has just entered Version 5.2 and, with it, the beta tests for Version 5.3 have commenced, allowing some players to try out the new content. The leaks include details about the highly anticipated playable version of Mavuika, for example, as well as gameplay details about thePyro Traveler inGenshin Impact5.3.

The leaks have also shown information about the new world boss and weekly boss that will be added with the patch, going so far as to showcase footage of simulated battles against them. These beta tests are the source of the most accurate leaks, as they come straight from the game itself rather than analyzing the title’s data and codes. Despite what seems like an abundance of content to play through in Version 5.3, the leaks mostly center around new playable characters, such asMavuika inGenshin Impact. The most recent leaks highlight all four new characters in the update.

Genshin Impact 5.3 May Have Four New Playable Characters

While details about Version 5.3 were somewhat blurry and uncertain up until now, the beta tests for the next update provided some clarity on what players can expect, and they highlight a total of four new playable characters within the patch. According to information by the leaker known as Genshin Intel,Mavuika, Citlali, Pyro Traveler, and Lanyan will be the four new playable characters inGenshin Impact5.3. The leak, which compiles several details about the patch, including new character skins and limited-time events, was shared in a post tagged as “Reliable” onReddit.

Genshin Impact 5.3’s Leaked Events Show The Next Update Will Be Massive

New leaks about Genshin Impact 5.3 include details about the upcoming events and what looks like the Lantern Rite, which should make for a huge patch.

Mavuika and Citlali were already heavily rumored as the new 5-star characters for Version 5.3 and some aspects of their early gameplay kit leaks were sustained by the most recent leaks coming from the beta tests. The Pyro Traveler was also somewhat expected for Version 5.3 since they were unable to unlock resonance with Pyro upon arriving in Natlan– as such, speculation arose that they would unlock it through the conclusion of the Natlan story arc. Lanyan is the only larger surprise, as they had not been mentioned in Version 5.3 leaks beforehand.

Genshin Impact’s Mavuika opens her arms and smiles with an explosion in the background.

There had been leaks about anew Inazuma character inGenshin Impact5.4, but Lanyan is rumored to be a new Liyue character, possibly related to the leaked Lantern Rite Festival taking place in Version 5.3.

Mavuika’s Leaked Kit Shows She May Be A Hybrid Character In Genshin Impact 5.3

Despite The Possibility Of Working As A Sub-DPS, She Seems Better As A Main DPS

While the initial leak only covered the list of new playable characters in the patch, the beta tests are revealing several gameplay details about each of these units.Mavuika, the Pyro Archon from Natlan, seems like she will operate as a hybrid DPS and sub-DPS unit in team comps. As seen onHoney Hunter World, this is thanks to her dual stance when using her Elemental Skill. If players tap her rumored Skill, Mavuika will create Rings of Searing Radiance, that follow the active character and attack nearby enemies at fixed intervals, dealing Nightsoul-aligned Pyro DMG inGenshin Impact.

One Of Genshin Impact’s Most Beloved Characters May Get A Fine Treatment In A Future Update

The Pyro character Hu Tao may make an exceptional comeback in a future Genshin Impact update with a new Story Quest and even a new skin to equip.

Alternatively, if players hold her Skill, she enters a special state and can ride the Flamestrider motorcycle at enhanced movement speed. With it, Mavuika can also fly and cross various terrains. Her Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attacks are also converted to deal Nightsoul-aligned Pyro DMG to enemies – in the wake of the Flamestrider, Mavuika also deals Nightsoul-aligned Pyro DMG to enemies in her path. Players can switch between her forms by using Elemental Skill while in the Nightsoul’s Blessing state.

Genshin Impact’s Ayaka and Hu Tao smile next to each other.

With her tap Skill, she can seemingly operate as an off-field Pyro sub-DPS. Alternatively,Mavuika’s mount inGenshin Impact, activated by her hold Skill, would make her a main DPS.

Mavuika’s leaked Burst isn’t charged by Energy but by the Fighting Spirit mechanic. She can accumulate this when Nightsoul points are consumed by party members in combat or when party members’ Normal Attacks hit opponents. When she has at least 50% Fighting Spirit, Mavuika can unleash her Burst, which grants her 10 Nightsoul points and sees her leap into the air with her Flamestrider and perform a cut on the ground, dealing AoE Pyro DMG. She also enters the Crucible of Death and Life state, which allows her actions to not consume Nightsoul points and grants her increased interruption resistance.

Genshin Impact’s Citlali looks serious.

Citlali’s Leaked Kit In Genshin Impact 5.3 Suggests She’s A Shielder & Support

The Cryo Unit Can Seemingly Protect Her Allies

As was previously predicted by theCitlali leaks inGenshin Impact5.3, the new Cryo character may be a shielder and support unit in team comps. According to her leaked kit onHoney Hunter World,Citlali’s Skill deals an instance of Nightsoul-aligned AoE Cryo DMG and summons a shield that scales off of her Elemental Mastery. The shield absorbs Cryo DMG with 250% accuracy and, if she has at least 50 Nightsoul points, Itzpapa enters the field in the Opal Fire state, continuously dealing Nightsoul-aligned AoE Cryo DMG.

Genshin Impact 5.2’s New Xbox Glider Can Be Obtained By Players On Other Platforms, But There’s A Huge Limitation Imposed On Them

Version 5.2 will introduce a new promotional Xbox glider for Genshin Impact, celebrating the game’s release on Microsoft’s line of consoles.

Furthermore, with her leaked Burst, Citlali can summon a field dealing Nightsoul-aligned AoE Cryo DMG. An important part of her kit lies in one of her leaked passive skills:when Citlali is in the Nightsoul’s Blessing state and after an ally triggers a Frozen or Melt reaction, the Pyro and Hydro RES of opponents affected by the reaction is decreased by 20% for 12 seconds. As such, she seems to operate as a Cryo support and shielder for her team comp inGenshin Impact.

Pyro Traveler’s Leaked Kit Confirms They Are A Pyro Sub-DPS In Genshin Impact

The Character Deals Damage From Off The Field

The leaks about the Pyro Traveler’s kit confirm the previous rumors that they would be a sub-DPS. As seen in a leak shared onReddit, the Pyro Traveler’s leaked Skill also has two forms. The tap version sees them summon a Blazing Threshold, which follows the active character and deals Nightsoul-aligned Pyro DMG when close to enemies. The hold version sees them summon a Scorching Threshold, which also follows the active character and deals DMG to opponents. Furthermore,Scorching Threshold deals Nightsoul-aligned Pyro DMG as coordinated attacks every three seconds inGenshin Impact.

Don’t Believe This Genshin Impact 5.3 Leak About The Pyro Traveler Just Yet

A leak about the Pyro Traveler in Genshin Impact 5.3 has emerged and it sounds too good to be true – and that’s exactly why you shouldn’t believe it.

Their leaked Elemental Burst is said to deal Nightsoul-aligned AoE Pyro DMG to enemies. Via their leaked passive, when the active character with Blazing Threshold or Scorching Threshold triggers Burning, Vaporize, Melt, Overloaded, Burning, a Pyro Swirl, or a Pyro Crystallize Reaction, the Traveler regains Energy. They can also regain more Energy when allies trigger a Nightsoul Burst.

Lanyan’s Leaked Kit In Genshin Impact 5.3 Hints At An Anemo Support Unit

The Character Can Allegedly Provide A Shield

As shown byHoney Hunter World, Lanyan will be a 4-star Anemo character using a catalyst in battle, represented by ring blades. Much like Citlali, Lanyan is expected to be a shielder and support. With her leaked Skill, she creates a shield for eight seconds, dashes forward, attacks the opponent, and leaps into the air. From there, using the Skill or a Normal Attack has her hurl a weapon at an enemy for Anemo DMG. Lanyan’s shield allegedly scales off her ATK stat. By holding the Skill, players can aim to adjust the direction of her dash inGenshin Impact.

Genshin Impact Leaks Are Bad News For Iansan Fans & At Least One Other Character

Iansan’s release in Genshin Impact may have been leaked and it could be pushed back by several updates – and this includes another character, too.

Lanyan’s leaked shield can allegedly undergo Elemental Conversion when her Skill interacts with Hydro, Pyro, Cryo, or Electro. Lastly, her Burst creates an area that pulls in nearby enemies and objects, dealing multiple instances of AoE Anemo DMG. Because of this, she seems somewhat comparable toSucrose inGenshin Impact. Lanyan should contribute to team comps as an Anemo support and shielder.

Genshin Impact’s Aether raises their hand, with sparkling effects behind him.

While the leaks seem extremely reliable, they should still be considered with caution, as they are still highly subject to change – especially when it comes to specific stats and numbers. Nevertheless, the upcoming patch may be a very heavy update when it comes to new gameplay possibilities, all of which are unlocked by the four new characters inGenshin Impact5.3.
