The Armor Set of Opulence is a gift to players that will be available from the Keeper’s Shrines as soon as the patch is installed. The set has some flashy effects and bonuses, and was “crafted to celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year,” according to the officialHēishénhuàwebsite.
Lion Head of Opulence
Defense (6) - Unique Effect: After a successful hit with a 3- or 4-Focus-Point Attack, moderately increases Movement Speed, and reduces the Stamina cost of all actions.

Defense (8) - Unique Effect: Jump Light Attacks gain a brief moment of Invincibility.
2-Set Bonus
Massively reduces the Stamina Cost of Jumping.
The set is especially eye-catching and looks visually stunning when some of these effects are triggered. The set itself isn’t ridiculously overpowered, but it is certainly something the Destined One will want to try out to get in the spirit of the New Year.

The bonus for wearing two pieces of the set will reduce the stamina cost of jumping, while the bonus for all four pieces causes the Ring of Fire skill to shoot fireworks into the air around the player. There are also two new Soaks included with the update, both based on Mana, which veterans of the game will know is in very short supply - even more so throughout the challenge modes. The Frost-Enduring Chrysanthemum restores Stamina if the Destined One is low on Mana, while the Robust Antler increases attack if consumed when the Destined One runs out of Mana.

Each sip restores 24% of maximum health. Increases the stamina consumption of all actions for a period of time, but also increases damage from heavy and staff-spinning attacks.

If Drink is consumed when the Destined One is at low Mana, it restores some stamina.
Robust Antler
If the Destined One runs out of Mana while drinking, attack will increase slightly for a period of time.
Also included in the update is the new Drink, Sour Wine, which will be incredibly powerful for certain builds incorporating heavy attacks or spinning staff attacks. The Sour Wine has drawbacks, but theymight be worth it considering the Drink’s overall attack boost. It restores 24 percent of max health, which is fairly low compared to other Drinks, and also increases Stamina consumption for all actions. However, the increase to heavy and staff-spinning attack damage might outweigh the negatives. These rare Soaks, Drink, and Medicine are sure to give players exciting ways to experiment with new builds for Challenge mode.
Curios & Equipment In Black Myth: Wukong Patch
The Stone Tiger Tally & Ever-Burning Palace Lantern Are New Curios
The new patch will also include a few unique Curios and a useful piece of equipment, the Three Hill Crown, which will increase damage with light attack combos when the Destined One has theTri-Point Double-Edged Spearequipped. This spear is acquired by defeating one ofBlack Myth: Wukong’s secret bosses, Erlang Shen,the powerful Yaoguai King located in Mount Mai. The Tri-Point Double-Edged Spear adds “spear techniques” to light attack combos and increases Thrust stance damage, so the Three-Hill Crown will be essential for players utilizing Thrust stance in their build.

After seeing through the opponent’s attack, the Destined One’s critical hit rate will increase slightly for a short period of time. The effect can stack up to six times.

Three new Curios are also included in the patch update: the Stone Tiger Tally, the Ever-Burning Palace Lantern, and the Fragment of the Ocean-Settling Pillar. The Stone Tiger Tally works with the see-through effect from the Resolute Counterstrike Smash Stance spark.The effect increases Critical Hit rate up to six timesfor a short period after the Destined One sees through an enemy. The Ever-Burning Palace Lantern adds Burn effects to light attacks, while the Fragment of the Ocean-Settling Pillar greatly extends and improves thepowerful Wukong Stance, which can only be unlocked after fully completing the game three times.
All New Weapons In The Black Myth: Wukong Patch
The Qing Mallet, Fanged Cyan Staff, And Leeching Centipede Staff
Finally, December’s patch will also include three new weapons - two staffs and a mallet - each with unique and powerful effects. The Qing Mallet replenishes focus continuously after successfully seeing through an enemy, whilethe Fanged Cyan Staff automatically inflicts one of the Four Banesconditions on an enemy when landing a heavy attack with four Focus points. The Leeching Centipede Staff is ideal for anyone using a poison build, as it replenishes health when the Destined One attacks an enemy and the effect is enhanced if the enemy is poisoned.

This patch includes some serious updates, such as adding a map function and a ton of useful rare treasures for the Destined One to utilize in the new Challenge Modes.
