The trailer forAmerican Horror Storiesseason 4 reveals the anthology’s first black-and-white episode and new demonic threats. Just in time for Halloween,the episodic-focused spinoff ofAmerican Horror Storywill soon return, with a cast that includesInsatiable’s Debby Ryan,Barrystar Henry Winkler,The Sopranosalum Michael Imperioli,Aliasactor Victor Garber, andNot Okaybreakout Mia Isaac, among several others.
The trailer for the five-episodeAmerican Horror Storiesseason 4 has now been unveiled byFX, ahead ofthe show’s return on Tuesday, October 15 on Hulu.
The trailer begins with Ryan and returningAmerican Horror Storyactor Jeff Hiller, with Hiller’s character seeming to reference a strange girl and saying: “When she dreams, things happen.” From there, the trailer hints at the terrifying happenings of several characters. The black-and-white episode, for instance, reveals a demon stalking Isaac’s character and Winkler potentially playing a sadistic figure. Imperioli appears to be stuck in some hell dimension, while Garber looks to be playing some A.I.All five episodes will be released on the same day.

Episode Titles Are Now Known
Although the trailer generally keeps the story under wraps,it does reveal a bit about the general idea and themes at play. Debby’s episode is titled “The Thing Under Your Bed.” Tellingly, Ryan’s character is in bed with her lover, and he’s dragged away by a monster, which suggests that there may be jealousy at play. Imperiol’s episode is titled “Backrooms,” which looks to be focused on a successful older man getting punished. Garber’s episode is titled “Clone” and is the most obvious to detect, as it looks to be centered on A.I., which takes a dangerous turn.
American Horror Storyseason 13does not currently have a release date.
There is also an episode titled “Leprechaun” andanother simply referred to as “X,” which is the black-and-white installment featuring Isaac and Winkler. The spinoff is executive produced by co-creators Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, Alexis Martin Woodall, Max Winkler, Jon Robin Baitz, and Manny Coto, and features a large cast.
