The horror-comedy movie sees Adams playing a stay-at-home mother whose frustrations with her life take an unexpected turn when she begins transforming into a dog at night.Reviews forNightbitchare mixed, with the movie currently holding a 59% Tomatometer score and a 65% Popcornmeter score. While many critics had issues with various elements of the movie, themajority of reviews praised Adams' performance, for which she received a Golden Globe Award nomination.

This streaming premiere provides an opportunity to see Adams' performance inNightbitchbefore the Golden Globe Awards ceremony airs on January 5 and before the Academy Award nominations are revealed on January 17.

Given how well-known Adams is, the movie should have received more attention. This will hopefully change once it can be streamed on Hulu and audiences can seeNightbitch’s endingfor themselves. Beyond providing more recognition, streamingNightbitchcan create more buzz aroundAmy Adamspotentially winning a Golden Globe for it and being nominated for an Academy Award as well.
