Kimmie Will Return In Season 2
Perry’sBeauty in Blackfeatured a massive ensemble cast, and many ofthe familiar faces from season 1 are expected to return. Leading the show is Taylor Polidore Williams as Kimmie, and with her new marriage into the Bellarie family, she has a lot to handle in season 2. Joining her will likely be her ailing husband, Horace (played by Ricco Ross), though he may not live long enough to see the full conclusion of his family’s drama. Crystle Stewart is also likely to return as Mallory Bellarie, Kimmie’s introduction to the family.
Bellarie matriarch Olivia (played by Debbi Morgan) has proven herself to be a cunning adversary in season 1, and she’ll be back in season 2 as well. Julian Horton will return as Roy Bellarie, while Steven G. Norfleet should be back as Charles Bellarie. Though she married Horace in a clandestine move to deprive his sons of an unearned fortune, the rest of the Bellarie’s won’t be going down without a fight.Season 2 will likely see the rest of the family attempt to get Horace’s fortune, or at the very least, they’ll try to destroy their marriage before he passes away.
