Bill Hader revealed his daughter recently watchedIt Chapter 2and wasn’t a huge fan of the 2019 horror movie. The firstItmovie followed the members of the Losers Club as children, with the second movie featuring a 27-year time jump. Bill Hader joined theIt Chapter Twocastas the adult version of Richie Tozier. Upon its release,reviews forIt Chapter Twowere somewhat mixed, with many critics believing the first movie to be better, so Hader’s daughter is in the majority.

Hader appeared on theWhere Everybody Knows Your Namepodcast and admits to host Ted Danson that his daughter didn’t really likeIt Chapter Two. He claimed that his children don’t usually watch his movies at all, but sinceIt Chapter Twois a common horror movie to play at sleepovers, his daughter was exposed to it. A star-studded cast of actors portrayed the adult version of the Losers Club’s members inIt Chapter Two. In addition to Hader, the cast ofIt Chapter Twoincluded the likes of Jessica Chastain and James McAvoy.

Many reviews forIt Chapter Twonote that the film prioritized trying to scare audience members over developing interesting characters.

However, despite the all-star cast, the sequel was not received as well as the first movie.It Chapter Twohas a score of 62% on Rotten Tomatoes, whereas the firstItmovie has an impressive 85%. Many reviews forIt Chapter Twonote that the film prioritized trying to scare audience members over developing interesting characters. Moviegoers were ultimately less invested in the adult version of the Losers Club as they battled against Pennywise.
