Next month,Pokémon GOwill launch its fifth Pokémon GO Tour event, this time focused on Pokémon fromthe Unova region. The event will bring Shiny Meloetta to the game for the first time, along with Shiny versions of Deerling, Maractus, Sigilyph, and Bouffalant. Niantic is hosting both live events in Los Angeles and New Taipei City as well as a global event so that all players can get in on the action.
Now, Niantic has also confirmed that Black Kyurem and White Kyurem are coming toPokémon GOas part of Pokémon GO Tour: Unova.Trainers attending in Los Angeles and New Taipei City will be the first to unlock the new forms through Pokémon Fusion,similar to how the Pokémon first appeared inPokémon Black & White. Along with the new forms, players will also be able to unlock new attacks, discover new enigma Field Research, and more during Pokémon GO Tour: Unova. Notably, Black Kyurem and White Kyurem cannot be transferred toPokémon HOMEor a professor or traded.

Pokémon GO Players Need To Battle In Raids To Collect Fusion Energy
Starting with the event, players can fuse Kyurem and Zekrom to create Black Kyurem or fuse Kyurem and Reshiram to create White Kyurem. InPokémon GO,each Kyurem fusion requires 1,000 Fusion energy(Volt Fusion Energy for Black Kyurem and Blaze Fusion Energy for White Kyurem), plus 30 Kyurem Candy and 30 Candies of the other Legendary Pokémon used for the fusion. Players can collect Fusion energy by battling either Black Kyurem or WhiteKyurem in raid battles. Separating the two Pokémon into their original forms will not cost any Fusion energy or Candies.

Kyurem’s signature attack Glaciate will also transform when the Pokémon is fused with either Zekrom or Reshiram. When transformed into Black Kyurem, Glaciate will transform into Freeze Shock. If White Kyurem is created, Glaciate will transform into Ice Burn instead. Currently,there are no specific details about either attack, but they will likely be more powerful than their base form. The attacks will revert to Glaciate once a Fusion is reversed.
