Borderlands' VOD release date has been revealed. Based on the best-selling video game franchise, the film was directed by Eli Roth, with a script he co-wrote with Joe Crombie, and follows the outlaw Lilith as she forms an unlikely alliance with a team of misfits to find the missing daughter of Atlas, the most powerful man in the universe. The two-time Oscar winner Cate Blanchett leads theBorderlandscastalongside Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Edgar Ramirez, Ariana Greenblatt, Florian Munteanu, Gina Gershon, and Jamie Lee Curtis.
Now, less than a month after it was released in theaters, the video game adaptation is coming to VOD. Lionsgate has announced thatBorderlandswill be available on VOD starting on August 30. The movie will be available to buy for $24.99 and to rent at $19.99 on participating digital platforms from which movies are purchased, including Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Google Play, Fandango at Home, and more.
