Death Stranding 2 Sets A Smart Release Date
A June Release Ensures The Game Won’t Be Competing For Attention
Death Stranding 2: At the Beachis scheduled to release on June 26, which is a smart move on Kojima Productions' part. A June release date avoids some of the biggest game releases of the year,Borderlands 4andGrand Theft Auto 6. TheBorderlandstitle has a September release date, whileGTA 6still has no set release date but it scheduled in general for “late 2025.”
Although all three games are different genres, it’s a great idea to launch sooner, to give each title its own breathing room. And it seems likeOn The Beachwill need some time for players to sink into the intricate, post-apocalyptic, and often strange world of the United Cities of America. Judging by the lengthy preorder trailer,Death Stranding 2: On the Beachhas a compelling story to tell and an incredible cast of characters to tell it.
