Series star Olivia Williams was at 2025’s Sundance Film Festival, and she revealed a few key details aboutProphecy’s upcoming shooting schedule toScreen Rant. “I thinkwe are going to start in the fall, and I don’t know anything [about Valya’s story]. I know nothing, so I’m just as excited as you are.” said Williams, suggesting that it will be a while before season 2 finally arrives.
If season 2 begins filming as late as fall 2025, that means it likely won’t wrap until several months into 2026. That means that the earliest the show could come back would be the latter half of 2026, suggesting a nearly two-year wait for the sophomore episodes.
