Hasbro’s Black Series range will continue to expand in 2025, bringing some exciting newStar Warscharacters into the 6-inch range. Hasbro officially launched the Black Series all the way back in 2013, but the range has come a long way since then. It seems to be ever-growing, drawing on everything from theStar WarsDisney+ TV showsto the oldStar WarsExpanded Universe.

Given the sheer size of the range, it’s almost impossible to keep track of all the Black Series action figures coming out in 2025. We say “almost,” because Screen Rant is here to lend a helping hand. Played by Lars Mikkelsen inAhsoka,Grand Admiral Thrawnis a Chiss strategist who originated in Legends and has made the leap into canon. Thrawn has never been more important forStar Wars, positioned as the main villain ofThe Mandalorianera. That means this particular action figure is sure to be an important one for collectors.

Droid head accessory

The Acolytemay have been canceled, but Hasbro continue to release action figures related to the show. One of the more surprising is Bazil, the Tynnan tracker who helped the Jedi on the jungle planet of Khofar. Tynnans made their Legends debut all the way back in Brian Daley’s 1979 novelHan Solo’s Revenge, but Bazil was the first to be seen in live-action. He comes with a PIP droid.

2 lightsaber accessories

A Jedi of theHigh Republic Era, Dagan Gera survived in suspended animation into the Dark Times. Awakened by Cal Kestis, he was shaken to learn of the Jedi Order’s fall, and he swiftly fell to the dark side - even bleeding his kyber crystal red. This new Black Series figure will also no doubt provide a template for future models based on other High Republic Jedi.

2 blaster accessories and a removable hood

This iconic action figure is based on Princess Leia’s design in the very firstStar Warsmovie, an iconic look that makes the figure absolutely unmissable. The removable hood allows collectors to put Leia in a variety of famous poses, potentially even recreating her appearance at the end ofRogue One: A Star Wars Storyas well. The blaster accessories serve as a useful reminder that Leia is no mere damsel in distress.

Lightsaber and macrobinoculars

Another iconic design fromA New Hope, this Black Series Luke Skywalker figure is designed to help viewers recreate some of the franchise’s most iconic poses. Luke comes with both his signature lightsaber and a pair of macrobinoculars, meaning he can be set up in poses before he encountered Obi-Wan Kenobi as well. This is another unmissable figure for collectors.

Played by Rebecca Henderson inThe Acolyte,Vernestra Rwohis a child prodigy who has grown to be one of the highest-ranked Jedi of the High Republic Era.The Acolyteteased a mysterious connection between Vernestra and the Sith Lord who called himself Qimir, but the show’s cancelation means it’s unclear whether this will ever be explored. It’s unfortunate that Vernestra comes with a lightsaber accessory, but not some sort of lightsaber whip.

Also known as clone trooper CC-1138, Clone Commander Bacara was briefly seen inStar Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith. One of many background clones, he turned on the Jedi during Order 66. Hasbro has revealed it intends to release all clone commanders from the prequels so they can be placed alongside their respective Jedi Generals.

Vibrosword and blaster

The Commando Droids number amongStar Wars' most dangerous droids, elite units designed to take on even Jedi in battle - explaining the vibrosword, a useful weapon against lightsabers. Teams of Commando Droids were used as infiltrators, sneaking into Republic strongholds and sabotaging their efforts to repel the Confederacy. The new Black Series action figure is ideal for army builders.

Staff accessory

One of the most important Legends villains, prince Xizor played the role of primary antagonist in 1996’s unforgettableShadow of the Empiremultimedia event. This new action figure has been lovingly created using a whole host of different reference material. Xizor has been name-dropped inStar Warscanon, as well, so it’s surely only a matter of time before the design is used again.
