At the end of Act 2, Jafar stole the Spark of Imagination, causing various rifts to appear all over the Valley. To return the Spark to its rightful place and fix the Valley,players will have to rally their companions from Eternity Isle to confront the villain in his palace.
Of course, there are a variety of puzzles and surprises waiting for players within the walls of Jafar’s Palace.It’s an entirely new location for players to exploreas they try to eliminate the rifts from their threatening presence across the Valley.
A Rift In Time Also Brings New Companions To The Game
Jafar Isn’t The Only New Character Teased
Once players complete the final act ofA Rift In Time,they’ll be able to add Jafar as a companion in the Valley. Though his misdeeds caused a lot of harm, his skills as a royal vizier will come in handy, prompting the player to befriend him. TheAladdinvillain hashis own set of friendship quests for players to work through, complete with exclusive rewards.
But Jafar isn’t the only new character who’s been teased. In the trailer for the final act,Steamboat Willy also makes an appearance, though only as a result of the rifts in the sky. It’s not clear if he’ll be addable as a new character, but this marks his first appearance in the game. Of course, those with the expansion pass will also have access to the new characters included in the free Dapper Delights update, meaningPrincess Tiana will also be joining the Valley(alongside her own restaurant).
Lastly, Jafar won’t just be added to the Valley –he’s also being added as a figurine in Scramblecoin.But he won’t be an easy opponent, as his figurine is known for its unpredictable movements and challenging skills, marking a new challenge for players who love to pass the time with this idle game.
