With the upcoming Lunar Year celebrations in Asia, Genshin Impact made the 5.4 livestream “Moonlight Amidst Dreams” earlier. Don’t forget to get all your codes and check all the announcements for the upcoming version.
Genshin Impact 5.4 stream primogem codes
As always, the Genshin Impact team shared three codes to redeem. You can claim these over on theofficial websiteor in-game. The codes will expire about 12 hours after the livestream, so claim them immediately.
Characters announcements and reruns
Yumemizuki Mizuki
The first big announcement was the comeback of Inazuma characters with the arrival ofYumemizuki Mizuki. Her name can be hard to say, but she comes to Genshin Impact with beautiful aesthetics. She will be an anemo character, presumed 5-star and catalyst user.
Mizuki is a childhood friend of Yae Miko. You’ll get the opportunity to know more about Mizuki in her story quest available on the 5.4 version. If you want to complete Mizuki’s quest as soon as it drops, you’ll be able to collect extra materials for her Ascension.
Genshin Impact returns to Inazuma with Yumemizuki Mizuki reveal
Yumemizuki Mizuki’s name might be a mouthful, but she might be the newest addition to your Genshin Impact party.

As for the voice actors of Yumemizuki Mizuki, for English, we have Naomi McDonald (same asYinlinof Wuthering Waves), and for the Japanese, Aizawa Saya, known for many of her roles in famous animes.
Mizuki will be added to the Standard banner after the end of version 5.5. You can still get the chance to wish for her in case you miss her!
Sigewinne rerun
Alongside Mizuki, Sigewinne is also coming back to the game with a rerun. If you missed her initial banner, she will now be available on version 5.4.
Second Phase: Furina and Wriothesley rerun
In the second phase, we have the return of Furina, one of the beloved characters in the game. Either you want to have her for the first time or wish for your C6, Furina is coming back to you alongside Wriothesley. It’s time to save some wishes!

Enchanted Tales of the Mikawa Festival
Travelers’s Tales: Anthology Chapter
In this event, you’ll meet many well-known characters around Teyvat. Help them complete anecdotes to win rewards, but don’t worry. Whenever there’s news about one of our companions, their anecdote icon will appear on the map so you can find them easily. It’s an easygoing event, so you can have fun with characters you might be seeing for a while.

Realm of Tempered Valor
This event is a combat event, typical in Genshin Impact. You have 30 seconds to clean the floor and move to the next. You can choose to do this experience solo or co-op. It’s the time to test those crazy builds in your characters. If you reach a certain floor, you’ll even receive an event-exclusive name card.
Invasive Fish Wrangler
A rather peculiar individual appears in Fontaine, saying that invasive species of fish made their way into Fontaine’s waters. In the “Invasive Fish Wrangler” event, you’ll need to help this person solve the problem. It’s another event where you may invite your friends and play together or against each other.
Another familiar face is coming to version 5.4 in Genshin Impact. The filmmaker, Xavier, needs your help to do a commercial and edit it. It just needs to be interesting, so make use of your imagination and creativity!

Updates and Optimizations
Keys and Story Quests
For the next version, travelers won’t need keys to unlock Story Quests. This means that as soon as the 5.4 version drops and you want to do any four-star or five-star quest, you won’t need a key.
TCG
On TCG, Automatic Artistry will be returning as a part of Heated Battle Mode. Travelers can look forward to new characters and monster cards. Besides that, Automatic Artistry will have a “Concede” button where you can restart a match if you feel it’s not going well.
Crafting Bench
In version 5.1, a calculator was added to the Crafting Bench to make the enhancement process easy. However, the development team thought that there were still some things to improve. In version 5.4, you can expect more sweeping optimizations.
In the Training Guide, you will be able to add Level-Up Plans for your characters. All you need to do is set up your level-up goals, and the system will display the materials all around your map. Besides, reminders of the required materials will also be displayed in various key interfaces, including the Adventurer Handbook, Domin entrances, and Domain completion screen. When you click on a material, you’re able to see your progress.
Aside from the optimizations becoming more intuitive, you will no longer need to exit your screen to see your resin. It will displaced at the top of your panel.

Weapon system
After version 5.4, you’ll be able to filter secondary attributes in Genshin Impact. Characters will also have secondary attributes recommendations to help you when you’re not sure what is the best weapon. In addition, an “auto add” button has been added to the weapon enhancement screen.
