AmericanPokémonfans can now pre-order the life-sized Gardevoir plush revealed in Japan earlier this month, provided they can afford the steep price tag. It’s not uncommon for Japanese audiences to get merchandise that never makes it to American shores and it seemed likely that the massive Gardevoir would be one of those. However, it seems that western fans won’t be left out this time.
The5.25-foot plush version of the gen-3 psychic and fairy Pokémon is now available for preorderfor western buyers on thePokémonCenterwebsite. TheGardevoir plush has been available in Japanfor about a week, and is now available for American buyers. The Hoenn-region plush is priced at a hefty $449.99 and is expected to ship around mid-July 2025.

Gardevoir Plush Is A Life-Sized Pokémon
The Plush’s Size Is Based On The Pokémon’s In-Game Details
Gardevoir is the final evolution of the Pokémon Ralts, and it’s become popular for its elegant design and humanoid features. According to the Pokémon’s official Pokédex entries,Gardevoir is a loyal companion prepared to protect its owner with its psychic powers. The Pokédex also has Gardevoir standing at about five feet, which is on-par with the plush version of the Pokémon, whose dimensions measure atabout 63 inches tall, 16 ½ inches wide, and 26 inches long.
The Pokémon is said to be based on the concept of the guardian angel, and is known as an “Embrace Pokémon.” Appropriately, the huge Pokémon plushhas poseable arms for maximum huggability. It’s worth noting that the toy cannot stand on its own, and is shown posed sitting on a chair and propped up against a wall in one of the product photos. Non-Japanese fans can now also have their very own accurately sized guardian Pokémon watching over them at home.

Our Take: Despite A High Price, The Life-Sized Gardevoir Is Likely To Sell Well
The Plush Is Already Sold Out In Japan
The Gardevoir plush will be available to ship in Japan in two days, on February 10, making it ready nearly half a year earlier than its US counterpart. The plush was only listed onPokémonCenter Japanfor a week, andit’s already completely sold out in that time span, despite having a similar price point to the American release.
Previous hypersized “jumbo” plushes have sold out as well, even though they’re generally priced around $450-500. This means that Gardevoir fans who want one of these impressively large plushes may want to act fast before they’re gone. Other massive Pokémon plushies made available in the past havefeatured more cuddly optionslike Altaria, Slowpoke, Snorlax, Mareep, and even Porygon. The huge Gardevoir plush fromPokémonoffers something a little different for fans.
