What Grant Gustin’s The Flash Movie Concept Trailer Means For The Arrowverse
Even though Gustin may not be getting his ownThe Flashmovie anytime soon,the concept trailer highlights once again the massive support there is for his version of the Scarlet Speedster. One of the biggest disappointments ofThe Flashmovie’s cameoswas the film snubbing Gustin, especially since it seemed like his inclusion should have been a no-brainer. After Miller appeared in the Arrowverse’s Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover and shared the screen with Gustin’s version of Barry, it set up the perfect opportunity forThe Flashfilm to then include an appearance by the Arrowverse star.
OnceThe Flashmovieactually released, its multiverse story also left something to be desired,as the DCEU installment didn’t take the opportunity to honor The Flash’s great live-action legacy, which has primarily been carried on through Gustin and John Wesley Shipp’s respective TV shows.
