DC Has Made Brainiac Vs Superman More Complicated In A Way That’s Almost Impossible For The Hero To Beat
DC’s latest 2025 release makes the newest chapter in the Brainiac vs Superman conflict almost impossible for the Man of Steel to win in.
In the physical world, Harley frantically searches the various labs until she finds Woodrue’s physical body.Once she does locate the Floronic Man, Harley wastes no time cutting him to pieces with a power saw. This ends his connection to The Green and saves Poison Ivy. Thanks to Frank and Harley working together, Ivy was saved and Woodrue ended for good. Ivy also admits to Harley that she should have never tried to ignore her traumatic past and should have been more open from the start.

What Happens To Harley And Ivy At The End of Harley Quinn Season 3, Episode 3
Captured by Brainiac
Unfortunately,Ivy and Harley don’t quite get a happy ending at the end ofHarley Quinnseason 5, episode 3. Instead, they get surrounded by drones who teleport them into a laser cage. This cage looks to be aboard Brainiac’s skull ship which is currently in orbit above Metropolis as he seeks to make the city 100% perfect.
As was established at the end ofHarley Quinnseason 5’s premiere, Harley and Ivy’s mere presence and move to Metropolis caused that percentage to drop from 99% to 86%. Now, it seems removing Harley and Ivy has become a top priority for the Coluan supervillain. After all, it’s a smart guess that Brainiac likely wants to shrink Metropolis so he can bottle it up for his collection as soon as it reaches his metrics for perfection, just like he did to the Kryptonian city of Kandor in the comics.
