A new NPC fromHonkai: Star Rail3.2 has leaked and their design may be one of the very best the game has seen in a while, but there’s bad news: they aren’t playable; at least not entirely. Version 3.2 is the next big patch for HoYoverse’s turn-based RPG.So far, the developer has revealed two key pieces of content that will arrive in the update, Castorice and Anaxa. The two new 5-star characters will compose a portion of thecharacter banner lineup inHonkai: Star Rail3.2, though the developer has not yet detailed their respective gameplay kits.
This article may contain spoilers about a massive lore revelation in Version 3.2.Since the start of the Version 3.2 beta tests, however, a lot of information about the patch, including the characters themselves, has been leaked. So far, the leaks have shown thatCastorice is set to be a powerful damage dealer who scales off of Max HP and drains the HP of her allies for increased damage output. Alternatively, rumors indicate thatAnaxa’s kit inHonkai: Star Rail3.2will allow them to apply new Weaknesses on enemies consistently with nearly all their abilities – though the leaks show their Ultimate can apply all seven Weaknesses at once on all opponents.

The Character’s Leaked Design Resembles The Remembrance Character
The new playable characters in every patch tend to occupy the majority of the spotlight in leak compilations, but a new leak for Version 3.2, involving an NPC’s design, has been shared and it may hold several secrets. According to images provided by the leaker known as Donut, an important story NPC from Version 3.2 has had her design leaked. The leaked images were shared in a post tagged as “Story” onReddit. As seen in the leak, these NPC render models seem to refer to Pollux, a character rumored to be Castorice’s sisterinHonkai: Star Rail.
Honkai Star Rail 3.2 Leaks: Reruns May Never Occur Again With New Character Banner System Changes
A massive set of changes may occur to character banners starting in Honkai: Star Rail 3.2, possibly excluding reruns permanently from the game.
The leaked images highlight a female figure with a pink and purple dress, not unlike Castorice’s, though a bit longer. The character has pale skin, pointed ears, and short pink hair, much like Castorice. Over the right portion of the NPC’s face, she wears a purple mask that resembles a claw and is portrayed with her eyes shut. Furthermore, the leaked NPC for Version 3.2 seems to use a wheelchair made out of bones. There are a lot of similarities between this leaked NPC andCastorice inHonkai: Star Rail, which just fuels the rumors that they are sisters.

Castorice’s Sister May Actually Be Her Memosprite In Honkai: Star Rail 3.2
Pollux May Have A Humanoid & A Dragon Form
While the leaked design for Castorice’s rumored sister is huge news, especially when considering there had already been talks about her existence but no visual references as to how she would look, there may be even deeper secrets about her. In an older piece of information shared by the leaker known as Uncle HellGirl, which was also shared in a post tagged as “Story” onReddit,it was revealed that Castorice has a younger sister called Polyxena. This same leak also mentions that Polyxena is actually the Dead Dragon known as Pollux,Castorice’s leaked memosprite inHonkai: Star Rail3.2.
Honkai Star Rail 3.3 Leaks: Acheron’s Reign May End With This New Character’s Release
New leaks have shown details about a new character in Honkai: Star Rail 3.3 who could represent the end of Acheron’s reign as a Nihility DPS.
With this overlapping set of leaks,we may have just finally seen a glimpse of the Dead Dragon’s humanoid form thanks to the leaked NPC’s design. There had already been several leaks about the memosprite Pollux in terms of gameplay design. For example, as a Remembrance character, Castorice is said to be able to summon the Dead Dragon onto the field to aid her in combat. The character’s kit onHoney Hunter Worldsays that this memosprite can significantly contribute to the team’s damage output and can even heal allies, essentially acting as asustain character inHonkai: Star Rail.

The leaks also say that Castorice’s memosprite can absorb lethal damage that allies would suffer when they are at 1 HP but for 500% of the incoming damage, which could serve as a means of balancing its rumored high Max HP score.
The leaked memosprite in Castorice’s gameplay kit should play an important part in her rotation and, essentially, tackle the largest portion of her damage contribution. While there had already been speculation that this dragon was Castorice’s sister, the design leak shows what Pollux (or Polyxena) may look like outside of combat. It’s still uncertain what role Castorice’s sister will play in the story and how often she will appear in her humanoid form. There are even rumors that Polyxena is dead, possibly due to her sister’s deathtouch, which is translated into gameplay viaCastorice’s HP drain inHonkai: Star Rail.

Pollux’s Design In Honkai: Star Rail 3.2 May Be One Of The Best In A While
Castorice’s Sister Could Bring Much-Needed Representation To The Game
When taking into consideration both leaked forms that have been shown so far and the possibility that the humanoid figure and the dragon are the same, Pollux’s design is one of the best for an NPC in a while. The game has been adding memorable NPCs over the past year, with a huge ascension in terms of design in Amphoreus, represented by the likes of Gnaeus, but Castorice’s sister may be the most notable so far. The character not only looks like a playable unit but, as a rumored wheelchair user, Pollux also brings much-needed representation toHonkai: Star Rail.
Honkai Star Rail 3.2 Leaks: Changes To Basic Attacks May Be Buff Some Characters In An Unbelievable Way
Honkai: Star Rail 3.2 may bring forth a massive change to Basic Attacks that could buff some powerful DPS characters, but there’s a catch.
So far,the game hasn’t been very apt at amplifying its representation across the board; the lack of people of color in designs is still a major issue, and characters with disabilities haven’t been shown either. The arguable exception to this isAglaea inHonkai: Star Rail, who is physically blind but has magical means of seeing the world. While a playable character with a physical disability would make for a much more meaningful form of representation, a leaked NPC with the rumored importance to the story that Castorice’s sister may have is a great step in the right direction.

Aside from how important a character like Pollux could be in terms of representation, her leaked design is phenomenal on its own. She brings forth elements that make her remarkable like her sister, but different enough to not be confused with Castorice. The wrapping around her arms and legs gives her a unique look and her bone-made wheelchair looks fantastic. The leaks should still be considered with a grain of salt, but if they’re true, Pollux may be the coolest NPC inHonkai: Star Railin quite some time.
