As a life simulator,InZOIincludes various jobs and careers that you can pursue with your Zoi. At first, the job system can look complicated, but it’s not too bad once you understand the menus and where to look for the information you need. Currently, there isn’t an overwhelming number of job choices either, which makes it the perfect time to learn the system before content updates make things more complicated.

You need money to buy items and pay for daily expenses, such as food and utility bills. This means that your Zoi needs to get a job. Luckily, there are a few options for the type of work available, but I expect moreoptions to be added in future updatessince you only have a few overall career paths at the moment.

If you’veplayedThe Sims 4,InZOI’smethod for getting jobs will feel familiar. Next to your Zoi’s image at the bottom, you’ll find a smartphone icon. This opens up the job options in the town you choose to live in, with part-time and full-time tabs that you’re able to pick depending on the needs of your Zoi.Most jobs will be grayed outbecause you don’t have the qualifications for them.

InZoi Karma Guide: How It Works & All Effects

InZOI might be called a Sims competitor, but it includes features that are all its own, including karma. So, what is karma and is it important?

Find the career path you want to pursue based on the locations that are hiring and apply for the lowest job at that location, as this is basically the entry-level job for that path. Once you apply, you automatically have the job, meaning that the screen changes toinformation about that job, such as work days and hours. You’ll also need to use this screen to learn how to advance in your current position.

How Jobs Work In InZOI

You Have Two Job Types

UnlikeThe Sims,InZOIforces Zois to retirewhen they reach the elder life stage. So only young adult, adult, and middle-aged Zois are able to work jobs, and you have two job types to choose from. First is the active job type, which is where you can follow your Zoi to work and help them out. Second is the rabbit hole job, where your Zoi disappears for the duration of their shift. In your career tab, you see how much progress you’ve made towards a promotion, and you can improve that by raising related skills and not skipping shifts.

The Sims Competitor InZOI Already Hit A Major Sales Milestone In Its First Week

inZOI made an impressive debut in the life simulator market, with over one million players exploring the game’s offerings during Early Access.

In its current form, the job and career portion needs some updates to improve the variety and make it clearer which skills are needed for each promotion. However, it’snot in a bad state for Early Access, it just doesn’t yet feel complete. For now, you do at least have ways to make money for your Zois to survive and chase their dreams inInZOI.
