One of the most important things you will do inDisney Dreamlight Valley’sStorybook Valeexpansion is work with the Lorekeeper, a large sentient book that contains the story puzzles you’ll need to solve by re-ordering them. To re-order the stories, however, you’ll first need to find all the required Snippets for each one.
There are currently 26 story puzzles you need to solve, but you won’t be able to see all of them right away. After unlocking the first story-related one with Merida, you can access all the themed ones, but you won’t see the remaining two story-related puzzles until they unlock through story progression as part of the main plot.

Collect Bird, Frog, and Demon Snippets
As you explore the various areas ofThe Storybook Vale, you’ll notice that there are several Snippet types, with certain ones being specific to certain areas.Thereare three types of Snippets: Demons, Frogs, and Birds. Each type has several color variants, and each Lorekeeper Story will have different combination requirements to unlock them. To catch them, you’ll first need tounlock the Royal Netand then swing it horizontally or vertically, depending on what you’re catching.
Disney Dreamlight Valley: All The Storybook Vale Recipes
The Storybook Vale expansion pass is a huge addition to Disney Dreamlight Valley, including many new recipes for appetizers, entrées, and desserts.
Once you’ve collected all the required Snippets, you’re able to return to the Lorekeeper and select the option to re-order stories. At that point, you can scroll through the list and see all the available options.They are listed in order of difficulty, and while the first story-related puzzle you’ll solve has guidelines, the rest will not, so it’s best to start with the easier ones to get an idea of what will be required. However, if you find yourself struggling, the solution for every story can be found in the table below.

As stated,you will not be able to see the plot-related stories until you have progressed far enough to unlock them. For the most part, this includes completing the initialStorybook Valequest with Meridaand unlocking more areas in Evermore and Mythopia. However, you should be able to see everything else as soon as you unlock the ability to re-order stories. Aside from the plot-related ones, the remaining stories are simply depictions of well-known Disney stories.

Perhaps the fastest way to complete the puzzles is to collect as many Snippets as possible and check in to see which ones you can complete. This way, you can plan out what remains once you’ve knocked off a few cheaper ones.

Several Snippets necessary to complete all the stories will be locked behind certain sections of each biome. Therefore, you won’t be able to collect those until you’ve unlocked that area using Story Magic.

Remember that you also unlock different craftable items to help you catch Snippets. For example, I found the birds to be the most annoying to attempt to catch, so I placed a pedestal that slows them in each area where they spawn.

Recipe Book
Once you’ve collected all the Snippets and finished re-ordering the stories, you will be done with all the Lorekeeper requests. However, if you have trouble with a specific Snippet, you will also unlock acrafting recipe inDisney Dreamlight Valleyfor them at a crafting station.To craft the Snippet you need, you’ll need White Bird Snippets. Unlike the rest, this one is not found inThe Storybook Vale. To find a White Bird Snippet, you’ll need to head back toDisney Dreamlight Valley’s base game area.
Disney Dreamlight Valley: How To Unlock Hades
The God of the Underworld, Hades, has finally arrived in Disney Dreamlight Valley, but you’ll need to prove yourself a hero before you unlock him.
The base game map is the only area where the White Bird Snippets spawn, and I found them most plentiful in the Peaceful Meadow. Once you have one, you can use it to craft a Snippet that you need, and it doesn’t only craft Bird Snippets.You can use the White Bird Snippet to craft Birds, Demons, or Frogs. Finally, don’t forget to craftone ofThe Storybook Vale’s new items, a tapestry frame, so that you can display the Lorekeeper stories in yourDisney Dreamlight Valleyhome.
