Unfortunately, to have the chance to play on one of these teams, players will first need to work their way up in some lower-tiered competitions.
To participate in the Quidditch World Cup, players will first need to win the Hogwarts House Cup and then the Triwizard School Quidditch Cup. Once you’ve successfully conquered the Triwizard School Cup, you are ready to begin the last section of the campaign and pick one of the National Teams with which you would like to conquer the World Cup.

While you do need to reach the Quidditch World Cup to play as a National Team, you do not necessarily have to unlock each National Team on their own.Instead, once you unlock the final cup, you can pick from any of the 16 teams available.Unfortunately, with only 16 teams to choose from, many players cannot represent their home countries, but there is at least one team for each continent.

Upon starting the game, the first cup you will have available is The Burrow Garden Cup. This is the most accessible cup in the game and serves as a way for players to understand the controls and how the game works. Following that is the Hogwarts House Cup. During this tournament, you will compete as yourchosen Hogwarts Houseand must win to move on.

Though it may be tempting to play tournaments on a higher level right from the start, it’s recommended that you start low and reevaluate later to try out the higher difficulties and become proficient atcatching the Golden Snitch.

If you have no interest in the campaign, you can always play as one of the National Teams in an exhibition match, but note that these single free play matches will not progress or unlock things in the campaign.
Third is the Triwizard School Cup, where you will compete as either Hogwarts, Durmstrang, or Beauxbatons. This is perhaps one of the most exciting cups as it gives players a chance to see these schools for the first time in officialHarry Pottermedia. Finally, the fourth tournament of the campaign is the Quidditch World Cup, where you will select your desired National Team and compete in the ultimateHarry Potter: Quidditch Championstournament.
