The Succession Contest arc is one of the most complicated even by Hunter X Hunter’s standards. Here is everything you need to know.
Hunter X Hunter Will Have More Content Than Ever
Interestingly, Togashi revealed that the publication schedule of the manga is completely up to the discretion of Shonen Jump and Shueisha. This means there is a very likely chanceHunter X Hunter might not be weekly, and will opt for other schedules. Bi-weekly is very possible given other series have been in Weekly Shonen Jump and released chapters once every two weeks, andBoruto: Naruto Next Generationsused to be monthly before transferring from the magazine as well.
Regardless, this is great news forHunter X Hunterfans, as it seems they will be able to enjoy more than a batch of chapters this year. The post also seems to imply that Togashi has changed his work method, focusing only on inking chapters and leaving more work to his assistants, which could help offset the delays caused by his chronic back problems.
