Green Lantern’s Architectural Skills Helped Him Defeat a God

Thanks to absorbing a powerful cosmic phenomenon called the Godstorm, John Stewart became the most powerful Green Lantern the DC Universe had ever seen. Unfortunately, this drew the attention of the Radiant Dead, powerful, undead forces that served the ancient Old God Olgrun. Thankfully, John was joined by Green Lantern Shepherd, an officer from an alternate universe who served under his world’s Stewart, a legend known simply as the ‘Builder’. John doubted he was anywhere near the level of his counterpart, butGreen Lantern was pursued all the same by the Radiant Dead, who hoped to make him Olgrun’s vessel.

John’s become more powerful than any Green Lantern to ever exist. That said, it’s not just raw power that separates him from every other Power Ring user. Every Corps officer can bring anything they imagine to life with a bit of creativity and willpower, but John is one of the few Lanterns who approaches his creations from an architectural mindset. Stewart understands how things work and operate and if he doesn’t, he damn well sure takes the time to do so. That grit and determinationhelped John accomplish something here no other Green Lantern would be capable of.

John Stewart Has Finally Reached His Cosmic Potential as the Builder

Though nearly every Green Lantern is worthy of the Power Ring they wear, John doesn’t simply bring abstract visions to life. He understands the structure and design of everything he builds on a fundamental level. Pair that kind of mentality with the godlike power at his disposal and it’s no wonder why John was known as the Builder. Who among his Green Lantern peers could rebuild the Necropolis, a structure that was shattered several millennia ago? Only someone like John, with his architectural knowledge and power, could build the things that help him stand out from any otherGreen Lantern.
