TheInvisible Woman, the leader of theFantastic Four, is one of Marvel’s most iconic heroes. Over the years, she’s proven herself to be a powerhouse who can hold her own against even the most dangerous foes.Sue Storm has now been brought to life in a fittingly awesome cosplay, with one shocking detail that shows the lengths creators will go to get their costume just right.

CosplayerArmored Heart(@armoredheartcosplay) channels her inner superhero as she dons the Invisible Woman’s suit. She’s the spitting image of Sue Storm, complete with a blonde wig, and she looks ready to unleash a forcefield in this epic photo taken by Justin Eseller (@justinsaiyann). What’s most striking about this cosplay, though, isthe fake battle damage the creator has added. She tore the suit in some places and added red makeup to resemble battle injuries.

Damaging such a cool costume might seem like a step too far, but Armored Heart has shown that there’sno such thing as going too far to make a cosplay work.

This Cosplay Proves You Shouldn’t Mess With Sue Storm

In the caption of her Invisible Woman cosplay, Armored Heart thanks fellow creator, Brianna Torres (@missbrisolo), for letting her destroy the costume she gave her. It may seem like a risky move, yet that move is exactly what makes this cosplay stand out. The suit being damaged in the shot conveys thatthe Invisible Woman is fighting in an intense battle. Without the damage, it would be an ordinary picture of Sue Storm. But with the added touch of fake blood and wounds, the cosplay becomesmuch more exciting and eye-catching, and it proves that going the extra mile is worthwhile for creators.
