When’s the next League of Legends patch coming out? That’s the question that dogs LoL players constantly, whether they’re waiting for a new Champion, begging for balance changes, or just bored with how the game is right now.
Luckily Riot Games has a strict schedule that it keeps to with League of Legends patches, and has helpfully planned out every single patch release for the next year (2024). So, we’ve put together a list of all the patch release dates, and also added some details of what to expect during those releases.

What time do League of Legend patches go live?
League of Legends patches usually go live at the same time every release, but at different times for each server. Usually this is in the middle of the night between 3:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. Here’s we’ve confirmed below:
What days to LoL patches release?
League of Legends patches usually release on Wednesdays. This is because a mid week patch gives time for finishing touches in the early week, and emergency bug fixes in the late week. Most software companies do something similar, but often roll out patches on Tuesdays. Riot Game’s schedule is slightly different, but still follows a pattern.
At the time of writing, only two patches this year won’t release on Wednesday: Patch 14.11 in May, and Patch 14.4 in February, which will both release on Thursday.
