A new fan-made mod forStarfieldhas made its way to the intergalactic RPGjust ahead of theShattered SpaceDLC content, allowing players to drive on roadways and have dedicated parking for the recently released Rev-8 vehicle. The Rev-8 made its debut during Gamescom 2024 and became available immediately with a free update, as long as players had 25,000 credits to spare.

TheGalactic Highway Networkmod was created by TheMilkArtist, who decided that every vehicle deserves a road to travel on. The mod, currently available onNexus Mods, has several features that make roaming the world much faster, easier, and even more fun, including a large loop around the city of New Atlantis, which also comes with parking near The Lodge. Two vehicle lifts are also available to reach an upper highway within New Atlantis. Areas such as Akila City, Cydonia, Gagarin, Neon, and Hopetown also have parking areas, trails, and even new roads that link to existing roads to make travel much easier.

As the mod’s creator explains:

“We now have vehicles in Starfield, but no infrastructure to use them in the more civilized parts of the game world. This mod opens up a new way to explore and get around each city by adding a network of roads to most major cities in Starfield.”

Starfield Mods Breathe New Life Into The Title

Players Are Improving On The Base Starfield Experience

Starfieldhas had several points of contention since its release, such as players becoming frustrated with bugs, glitches, and overall gameplay, but fan-made mods seem to keep those still interested in the title coming back for more. While some may say that initial playersgave up on the game too soon, others may argue that the title was simply lackluster for what we had come to expect from Bethesda. With that said, this particular mod allows for even more immersionand adds a bit more realism to the title.
