The popular fast food chain restaurant does an almost annual collaboration with the trading card franchise, offering exclusive cards as a bonus treat with the purchase of certain meals. For collectors, it seems like thePokémon Trading Card Gamecould be coming back to the States sooner rather than later.

In a post fromPokéBeach, it was confirmed thatFrance is getting itsPokémon TCGin early December, with the promotion reportedly running from Dec. 4 to Jan. 21of next year. Traditionally, the U.S. gets its McDonald’s and Pokémon collaboration about a month or two before France, suggesting thatplayers could see the cards hit as early as October. At this time, an exact date hasn’t been confirmed — but players should look for news of the promotion soon.

Players of the card game will still have to wait a couple of months before they can see what cards will be included in the upcoming trading card promotion at McDonald’s, but it’s been a pretty big couple of years for fans.Those in Japan are already in themiddle of a Pokémon promotionwith McDonald’s,as a series of toys inspired by the Paldea region are being released in waves between Aug. 9 and Aug. 22.

Unfortunately, there’s currently no word on whether these Happy Meal goodies will make their way to the U.S., but it seems Pokémon still has a lot in store for those who frequent the fast food chain. Last year’s promotion, which ran between September and October, featured15 cards exclusive to the Happy Meals. These included Pokémon likeTandemaus, Klawf, Flittle, and the three starter Pokémon: Fuecoco, Quaxzley, and Sprigatito.
