The Strengths of Togekiss

Overdrive Smash Will Deal Huge Amounts Of Damage

Togekiss is aStage Two card from Space-Time Smackdownthat may take some time to set up, but the payoff is well worth the effort. Its “Overdrive Smash” attack deals a solid 60 damagefor just two Psychic Energy. However, what makes Togekiss truly powerful is its ability to ramp up—on your next turn, it deals an additional 60 damage, turning it into a formidable offensive threat. Once set up, Togekiss will do a whopping 120 damage the second time its attack has been used, making it a giant killer.

This card also has 140 HP, meaning it takes some effort from the opponent to take it down. This is amplified by the Giant Cape tool card, which can increase this by 20 HP. Therefore, once Togekiss is in the Active Spot,it should have enough power and resilience to dominate the battle and secure victory. Its pre-evolution cards also provide solid support. Togetic, with 80 HP, can withstand hits, while Togepi, with 50 HP, is resilient enough to survive until it evolves. Both can hold their own long enough to set up Togekiss.

The Synergy Between Druddigon, Togekiss, Azelf, And Cynthia Creates A Formidable Deck

When using thisdeck inTCG Pocket, I found that Druddigon serves as the perfect wall to help set up Togekiss. Its ability,“Rough Skin,” does 20 damage to the Pokémon it’s attacked by,deterring the opponent from attacking. I was also able to use the Rocky Helmet tool card to amplify its ability and do 40 damage rather than 20. This gave me enough time to set up Togekiss on the bench and load it with energy, as Druddigon doesn’t require energy or an attack in this strategy.

Azelf also gives you another way to stall for Togekiss while, this time, dealing damage. It does 20 damage to any of the opponent’s cards for just one Psychic Energy, allowing you to cause problems for the opponent. Once set up properly, Cynthia or Cyrus can be used. Cynthia will almost guarantee success because it will add an additional 50 damage to Togekiss when it attacks. This will allow you to do a potential 170 damage in one turn, securing a win inPokémon TCG Pocket.
