In its most recent decision to cancel a series, Netflix has axed the musical comedyGirls5Eva,which won’t be coming back for season 4. The series follows a ’90s girl group who, after becoming one-hit wonders in their prime, get a chance to reunite and bolster their career when a song is sampled by a rising rap star. Originally airing on Peacock, the show was cancelled during season 2, only for Netflix to pick it up and release a six-episode season 3 in March 2024. The show also received critical acclaim throughout its run.
