There’s no denying thatScrubs: Med Schoolwas riddled with faults, but not every inch of the softly rebooted sitcom was a complete disaster. Despite every poor decision and disappointing change made ahead ofScrubsseason 9,Lucy was actually a pretty good replacement for JD. She maintained the nerdy, unsure traits of JD’s younger self while also pushing the show’s protagonist archetype into new territory.

It almost goes without saying that her role in the revival wouldn’t be as prominent this time around, but that doesn’t mean she can’t have a part to play in the story’s continuation after so long.Scrubshas been dormant for such a sizable period thatLucy will be more qualified and experienced than the original cast was when the sitcom ended, and that revelation means she is deserving of a senior position at Sacred Heart Hospital.
