Now,Paramounthas released a new trailer forSmile 2, revealing Scott’s pop star Skye Riley fighting for her life after she ends up with the curse. After seeing her friend (Lukas Gage) take his life in front of her,the trailer depicts her slowly being driven mad as more smiling faces and disturbing events unfold.However, a researcher of the curse reaches out to help her, cryptically saying she needs to die in order for the curse to be broken.
After his revelation,Skye can be seen in a hospital gown about to inject herself with somethingbefore more creepy scenes of smiling fans are shown. However, the movie also promises plenty of high-octane scenes as well, including a bunch of smiling fans chasing her down a hallway, as well as a car crash in the dead of night.
