Adrian Toomes returns with an upgraded suit of his own, hellbent on getting payback on Miles for the beating he gave him mere hours earlier to end the issue.Miles Morales: Spider-Man#26 isdedicated almost entirely to showing off what this new suit is capable of. From the moment he unleashes his first punch, Miles admits to how amazing the new suit feels for him.

In contrast to their last fight,the suit calms Miles enough to think past whatever kind of pain or rage he feels, allowing him to use his power to judo throw Vulture. The sight of Adrian’s blood momentarily pauses Miles, but rather than give in to his bloodlust, the thought electrifies his suit. Filled with immense power, he finishes Vulture with one last"spectacular"shot without going too far.

How Being a Vampire Makes Spider-Man Even Stronger

An Upgrade, Not a Hindrance

There was concern from fans about how much becoming a vampire could change the status quo for Miles Moralesfor the worse, but with the introduction of this suit, it’s changing him for the better. Fan concerns ranged included the character going through a completely new evolution and how it would drastically alter his story. More importantly, concerns lie in how it changes him as a hero. It’s safe to say that there are more long-term positives to this character development than negatives.

This power upgrade shoots Miles up the power scale and potentially makes him the most powerful Spider-Man on Earth-616.
