Star Wars Outlaws, the 2024 title by Massive Entertainment, hasrevealed the first teaser image for its upcoming DLC,A Pirate’s Fortune, and I’m definitely on board. The game, which set out to embrace more of the scum and villainy of theStar Warsuniverse than other titles, will finally be exploring more of the pirate side of the galaxy withThe Clone Wars’own Hondo Ohnaka in the next DLC. It’s a subject that has the potential to be far more interesting than the topic of the last DLC,Wild Card.
Pirates have always been a fun group to see in theStar Warsuniverse, since lack of moral consistency can make for interesting situations. While the last DLC allowed players to play Sabacc with Lando Calrissian,A Pirate’s Fortunewill hopefully top off the game with an explosive pirate-themed adventure.

Star Wars Outlaws’ Next DLC Focuses On Hondo Ohnaka
The Clone Wars Pirate Will Join Kay and Nix
Though further details have yet to be revealed, the officialStar Wars: OutlawsX account has revealed the first image teaser for its second DLC, which shows the infamous pirate Hondo Ohnaka alongside Kay Vess and her merqaal companion, Nix. While it was confirmed back in August 2024 that Ohnaka would appear in the upcoming content, the teaser confirms thatfans will finally learn more about what the DLC will entail very soonatStar WarsCelebration on April 18.
Star Wars Outlaws' Next Patch Makes Combat Significantly More Interesting
Star Wars Outlaws outlines what players can expect from its next major patch it looks like combat is about to receive some major improvements.
In a roadmap for the game released on theUbisoftblog, the second DLC also has a brief plot teaser, which said “TheTrailblazer’sreputation precedes Kay as she runs into veteran pirate Hondo Ohnaka, who is looking to settle old scores with a ruthless gang of pirates.” Based on this single-sentence description, it sounds likeKay will be roped into one of Ohnaka’s famously half-baked plansas they go up against a more ruthless band of enemies.

A Pirate’s Fortune Fills A Fun Star Wars Gap
A Different Side Of The Criminal Underground
The first DLC forStar Wars: Outlaws,Wild Card, featured Lando Calrissian, the dashing, cape-wearing smuggler in a high-stakes Sabacc tournament, but unfortunately, the DLC fell a bit flatdespite the potential to revamp the game. It’s a short story with some fun characters, but it didn’t add too much to the main game and failed to offer something exciting enough to truly stand out from the base experience. While a tense Sabacc game with Lando is appealing, Lando has been a go-toStar Warsside character for decades with no shortage of appearances.
Hondo Ohnaka is a more unique inclusion. He’s become aStar Warsfan-favoritesince he debuted in the animated show,Star Wars: The Clone Wars, even appearing as a full-fledged animatronic in the Walt Disney World ride Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. Ohnaka gets far less screen time than a character like Lando, which makes this second DLC’s opportunity to explore a different portion of the criminal underground a little more interesting. Where Lando is charming, Ohnaka is bombastic, which will hopefully bringStar Wars Outlawsto more high-speed territory with more unique enemy groups.
