Our Take On A Darker Will Story In Stranger Things Season 5

Will Deserves More Attention In The Netflix Show’s Final Outing

Though reviews forStranger Thingshave been positive overall, one complaint that did crop up with season 4 is that the show has more characters than it knows what to do with. Will has arguably been the character that has suffered the most from the introduction of so many new faces, and his storyline really takes a backseat in seasons 3 and 4. Though it seems unlikely Will would actually turn evil by choice, having him under Vecna’s influence in season 5 could be an interesting way to put him front and center once more.

Stranger Thingsseason 5 doesn’t yet have a specific release date, but it is confirmed to hit Netflix in 2025.

Of course, having Will possessed takes away his agency, and this could be frustrating for different reasons. It remains to be seen how Will will factor intoStranger Thingsseason 5, but audiences should evidently expect to see a lot more of Schnapp’s character in the episodes to come.
