It’s easy to believe that no one in the DC Universe could stand up toSuperman, but for decades there was one character who could match his strength - until now. DC has officially revealed just how much stronger Superman is than his dark opposite,Bizarro.

DC seems truly committed to putting out a wider variety of comics and bringing back characters and teams that haven’t been seen in a long time. One such book is the upcomingSecret Six#1 by Nicole Maines and Stephen Segovia, which will feature an entirely new team, and the first few pages show an explosive fight between Jon Kent and Bizarro.

Bizzaro Superman DC Comics Explained

AfterAbsolute Powerand the defeat of Amanda Waller, the superhero community has been trying to get everything back under control. As Belle Reve was Waller’s seat of power, it’s obviously the most chaotic place, as evidenced by Jon Kent and Bizarro having a brutal fight in the center of it, whichends in Jon Kent brutally destroying his cybernetically-enhanced enemy.

Bizarro Has Always Been One of Superman’s Toughest Opponents

Secret Six#1 by Nicole Maines, Stephen Segovia, Rain Beredo, and Steve Wands

When it comes to physical challenges for the Man of Steel, the biggest two have always been Bizarro and Doomsday.Bizarro is the perfect opposite of Superman, even talking backwards in some cases. He has opposite powers as well, such as frost vision and heat breath, but his strength has always remained the same. WhileSuperman has some major feats of strength, Bizarro has equally absurd ones, such as ripping out the heart of Trigon, one of the most dangerous demons in the DC Universe.

Despite Jon not having nearly as much experience in fighting as his father, Jon manhandles and destroys Bizarro with complete ease…

Jon Kent Superman Glowing Blue DC

Bizarro once punched Superman so hard that he was knocked into outer space and hit the moon. His strength has always made fans believe that Bizarro was, at the very least, on equal footing with Superman when it comes to physical strength. While that might be true for Bizarro versus Clark Kent, it doesn’t seem to be the case when Bizarro goes up against Jon Kent’s version of Superman. Despite Jon not having nearly as much experience in fighting as his father, Jon manhandles and destroys Bizarro with complete ease, which is even more impressive considering that Bizarro is cybernetically enhanced.

Jon Kent’s Superman Is Even Stronger Than His Father

Jon Kent Beat Bizarro with Ease

Clark Kent definitely has more experience and knowledge as Superman than Jon, but, curiously, Jon has shown flashes of power that are even stronger than his father’s. Superman tends to struggle in physical confrontations with Bizarro, especially during their last confrontation whenBizarro began using magic. But this version of Bizarro is either significantly weaker than usual, or Jon Kent really is just that strong. This issue shows Jon Kent tossing Bizarro around, easily pinning him down andeven ripping off his cybernetic implants, which were no doubt augmenting his strength.

Bizarro’s Ultimate Form Is Unleashed, Making Even Superman Look Weak

Bizarro’s back and still working for Amanda Waller. When the Dark Knight comes snooping, Superman’s twisted copcat reveals a killer new upgrade.

It’s a pretty common trope for the son to become stronger than the father, especially if the son is a hybrid of a human and whatever the father is. Just look at Goku and Gohan from the Dragon Ball franchise, for example. The other big thing to keep in mind is that while Clark is a grown man, Jon is still growing. So, while Bizarro usually gives Clark a real fight, that simply doesn’t seem to be the case for Jon. As far as the debate about whether Bizarro or Superman is stronger, it seems to all come down to whichSupermansomeone is talking about, because DC just showed that Jon Kent is definitely stronger thanBizarro.
