What This Means For The Naked Gun
The Movie’s Comedy Stylings Have Gotten Their First Major Showcase
Ultimately, it remains to be seen how the rest of the new installment in the iconiccomedy franchiseshapes up, as this minute-long teaser forThe Naked Gunonly showcases one major scene. So far, there has been little indication of what the overarching plot of the movie will beor insight into the character played by Pamela Anderson, who does not appear in the clip.
Pamela Anderson was recently nominated for a Golden Globe for her performance in 2024’sThe Last Showgirl.

However, if theLiam Neeson movietakes after the scene showcased in the trailer, it seems clear thatThe Naked Gunwill endeavor to retain the absurdism of the original trilogy, which ran in theaters between 1988 and 1994. However, it also blends this with a more modern style of action filmmaking, with the scene that is being subverted exhibiting a much a higher level of intensity than any of Drebin’s adventures in the original movies.
