Many of them are indifferent at best — like Paddler the beaver played by Matt Berry (What We Do In The Shadows) — or outright threatening at worst, such as as the grizzly bear Thorn. Thorn is played byMark Hamil (Star Wars). However, there are some kinder animals who form bonds with Roz and Brightbill.
This includes a maternal possum named Pinktail played by Catherine O’Hara (Beetlejuice Beetlejuice), a kindly old goose known as Longneck played by Bill Nighy (Living), and the stern falcon, Thunderbolt played by Ving Rhames (Mission Impossible).
