Rachel O’Toole, production designer for the upcoming film, announced in 2023 thatFinal Destination 6is considered a rebootdue to its fresh take on the story, though she could not say much more. Furthermore,Final Destination’screator, Jeffrey Reddick, also commented thatthe next installment in the horror franchise will have a different feel compared to the other movies.
