Virgin Riverhas received a surprise release date on Netflix, as new first-look images reveal what to expect from the drama’s latest season.Virgin Riverseason 6was confirmed in May 2023, prior to the release of season 5, confirming the romantic drama of the small, Northern Californian town would continue. Filming for season 6 began in February 2024, wrapping at the end of May. While a definitive release window for the 10-episode season wasn’t given at the time, its filming window indicated the show might not come out until 2025.

Now,Deadlinehas released a series of new images fromVirigin Riverseason 6, while also confirming the 10-episode entry will come to Netflix on June 26, 2025. The images tease what to anticipate,with the most prominent featuring Mel (Alexandra Breckenridge) and Jack (Martin Henderson) standing at home together, looking serious. A similar pose is struck by Muriel (Teryl Rothery) and Cameron (Mark Ghanimé), who are standing outside together. Happier-looking pairings include Mike (Marco Grazzini) and Brie (Zibby Allen) smiling at one another, while Doc (Tim Matheson) and Hope (Annette O’Toole) look happy while petting a horse.

In addition are Preacher (Colin Lawrence) and Kaia (Kandyse McClue) smiling at one another inside the restaurant, while Denny (Kai Bradbury) and a very pregnant Lizzie (Sarah Dugdale) can be seen sitting in a booth together.The final image teases Dan (Benjamin Hollingswoth) speaking to someone at a bar, although it’s unclear who she is due to only the back of her head being shown. The release date for the romantic drama’s newest season comes thirteen months after theend ofVirgin Riverseason 5, whose last two episodes were released on August 22, 2025. Elements of those final episodes will come into play with season 6, asshowrunner Patrick Sean Smith previously confirmed Mel’s biological father, Everett (John Allen Nelson), will have an important rolein the new episodes.
