As revealed by Wario64 on Twitter, theWalmartPS5 restock will include both versions of Sony’s new console. This includes the $499 standard PlayStation 5 that comes with a disc drive, as well as the PS5 Digital Edition that does not. The PS5 Digital Edition is the exact-same as the standard PS5 in terms of power, but if players can live without having a disc drive, they will be able to get the console for $399, $100 cheaper than the other version.

Walmart will also have the Xbox Series X console in stock as well. While there’sno difference between the regular PS5 and the Digital Editionin terms of power, there is quite a bit of difference between the $499 Xbox Series X and the $299 Xbox Series S. Both the Xbox Series X and S can play new-gen exclusive games, but the Xbox Series S is not as powerful as the Series X and therefore doesn’t run games at quite as high of settings.

To participate in this latest Walmart restock, one must be signed up for theWalmart+ subscription program. For the unfamiliar, Walmart+ is a subscription program that not only gives customers first dibs on new-gen console stock, but a variety of other perks as well. Those that shop at Walmart frequently may very well want to look into signing up for Walmart+, as the other perks may make it worth it.

It should be noted that not only do people have to be signed up for Walmart+ to try their hand at this latestPS5and Xbox Series X console restock, but they must also be paid members. Anyone signing up for the free trial version will be out of luck, unfortunately.

Besides Walmart+, other retailers offer similar programs to make it easier for interested consumers to get their hands on a new console. For example,GameStop PowerUp Rewards Pro memberswere recently treated to a PS5 restock, though it only included bundles.
