Summary
Sebastian Sallow is one of the most important characters inHogwarts Legacy, with his side quests often being referred to as better than the main story. It sees him attempt to find a cure for his sister’s mysterious illness, and finding himself on a dark path leading to only one possible conclusion. Fortunately, the player is there to guide him, hopefully for the better, or at least ensure Sebastian’s ending isn’t as sad as it’s likely to be.

10 Hogwarts Legacy Mysteries That Are Still Unsolved
Despite all the attention to detail that developers gave in Hogwarts Legacy, there are still several big questions that were left unanswered.
Sebastian Sallow Goes To Azkaban If The Player Turns Him In
Sebastian Pays For Killing His Uncle
If the player chooses to turn Sebastian Sallow in after he kills his uncle inHogwarts Legacy,he is expelled from Hogwarts and handed over to the Ministry of Magic. Unfortunately, there is only one fate for a murderer: to be handed over to Azkaban, the infamous prison guarded by Dementors. There is a reason why this mission hasone of the biggest choices inHogwarts Legacy, as it can result in Sebastian spending the rest of his life rotting away in prison, with the death of his uncle, and the presumed death of his sister playing on his mind.
Turning him in locks players out of using the Dark Arts spells. While it may make more moral sense to turn him in, as there is no consequence for using the Dark Arts inHogwarts Legacy, players would be locking themselves out of the most powerful spells in the game.

This is the bleakest fate for Sebastian, as Azkaban is no place for anyone, let alone a child. As he has not popped up in any otherHarry Pottermedia, it’s unlikely that Sebastian Sallow will break out of Azkaban and live a life on the run.The player also won’t be able to encounter him again for the rest ofHogwarts Legacy, and he won’t appear at the final ceremony either.
10 Rarest Things That Can Happen In Hogwarts Legacy
Players can find plenty of secrets through careful exploration, but when it comes to the rarest events in Hogwarts Legacy, it all comes down to luck.
Sebastian Sallow Lives His Days Mourning His Sister
Ominis Gaunt and Anne Never Talk To Sebastian
If the player chooses to spare Sebastian Sallow inHogwarts Legacy, then Sebastian Sallow does not get expelled from Hogwartsand no one - other than the player, Ominis, and Anne - find out about his actions. Sebastian will then teach the player the Dark Arts, including the very spell he used to kill his uncle, Avada Kedavra. He will appear around Hogwarts still for the player to interact with, and also learns that it was Victor Rookwood, and not a goblin as he had suspected, that cursed his sister.
However, both his best friend Ominis and his sister Anne refuse to talk to him. His sister leaves him, informing him that while she’ll always love him, she cannot forgive him for the murder of Solomon, their uncle. This leaves Sebastian all alone inHogwarts Legacy, with only the player left to be by his side, resulting in a sad life that he may never recover from.

No matter what the player chooses inHogwarts Legacy, Sebastian Sallow is not happy. His sister will likely die from her illness as he was never able to find a cure, and his best friend Ominis abandons him. Forced to return to the life he had wanted to escape from, Sebastian likely ends up in prison. In a desperate attempt to save his sister inHogwarts Legacy, Sebastian makes a fatal mistake, and it will haunt him for the rest of his life.
