PerTVLine, Lois tells Sister Megan that the Burnside patriarch was “salted and peppered, seasoned with fennel seed and cayenne and roasted for two hours in a 375-degree oven with sunchokes and baby carrots.” Themother and two older children were tied up as the father was dying.Afterward, they were forced to eat some of him, and then died from “acute shock.” So, it makes sense why multiple police officers threw up after witnessing the crime scene inGrotesquerie.
