Fortnite’s latest season is all about Marvel, blending the popular shooting game with superheroes and supervillains. However, for this season, fans can look forward to a new battle pass, many new (and old) skins and items, and the chance to meet some famous (and infamous) NPCs.
As of theFortnitemaresupdate, one NPC you can meet is Mephisto, a supervillain from the Marvel Universe. Fans of the Marvel universe will recognize Mephisto from the Silver Surfer comics and as an enemy of characters like Thor, Doctor Strange, and Spider-Man. Now, Mephisto has made his way toFortnite’sMarvel collaboration, and fans are wondering where to encounter this infamous supervillain and what purpose he serves.
Mephisto’s Location In Fortnite
Looking to meet the demon, Mephisto, in thespecialFortnitemaresevent? The current king of the Underworld isn’t too difficult to find, but it may be hard to meet him as many other players will be vying for the chance. However, if you’re willing to go against other players to meet the demon, you’ll need to head toFortnite’sUnderworld. you may do so after immediately jumping fromFortnite’s battle bus, or you can make your way to the Underworld later in the game, as long as the storm circle allows.

Either way,head to the western side of the Underworld, and you’ll find a statue-filled hallway that leads to Mephisto’s Throne. Enter the throne room, and you’ll find Mephisto sitting atop his throne. If you’re having trouble locating him, check your mini-map andhead to the dialogue box mark.
While the rivers have changed from red to green, you’ll still receive the Styx effect when stepping in the rivers, allowing you to dash three times. The Styx effect is a great way to escape tough situations, especially as more players flock around to meet Mephisto.
Be careful; players are sure to lurk around every corner, waiting to ambush you. Before approaching Mephisto inFortnite, it might be a good idea tocheck out the surrounding areasand clear out any players who might be lying in wait. Once you’ve dealt with these campers, approach Mephisto and interact with him to see what he has to offer.

Mephisto isn’t just another pretty face to look at inFortnite, nor is he there to stand around for fans to gawk at, like in theDeadpool and Wolverine dance. Mephisto actually serves a purpose. Of course, his purpose comes with a price, but it might be worth itas it could turn your entire game around.
As shown inSinX6’s video, Mephisto offers two services. The first is called Mephisto’s Gift. In exchange for 20 health, Mephisto willgive you a random weapon. There’s no telling what you’ll end up with. You could end up with a legendary or common weapon. For just 20 health, it might be worth the gamble. If you’re not lucky the first time, don’t worry. you may use this service up to ten times per match.
verify you have some extra health items on you so you may restore the health you trade away for Mephisto’s services.
The second service is Mephisto’s Bargain, which comes with a higher price. Offer Mephisto 99 health, and he’llreboot your entire teamand bring them back into the match. Of course, this will only work if one of your teammates is eliminated. This is extremely useful in squads. Imagine your entire team is eliminated, and you’re the sole survivor. That is until you make that deal with Mephisto. Unlike Mephisto’s Gift, you can only use Mephisto’s Bargain once per match, so use it wisely.
Reboot vans take a long time to reboot your teammates. If you’re in a pickle, use Mephisto’s Bargain instead.
Whether you want to trade for the chance at receiving a legendary weapon or want to reboot your whole squad back into the game, Mephisto’s services inFortnitecould be the key to claiming your victory royale. All you have to do is trade some of your health, which you can quickly regain with the right health items. So, if the Underworld lands within the Storm Circle and you can get there safely, use Mephisto’s services to improve your chances of winning.
