Some exciting series were picked as one of the most anticipated to receive an anime adaptation, and this poll just showed that there is indeed demand and hype for them.
Each year,Anime Japanhosts a poll that asks manga fans which series they would like to see receive an anime, and while this doesn’t necessarily lead to guarantees, some of the manga picked do end up receiving an anime later on. This is the sixth year they’ve done it, andthe mangafans want to see in anime format the most isNue’s Exorcist, written and illustrated by Kōta Kawae.

This poll had approximately 156,909 votes, and a sample size this large surely means that the publishers will take notice of the fans' votes and opinions. Historically,manga that have been in the top 10 usually get an animelater on, and there is no doubt that among this year’s winners, a few will be adapted into an anime and hopefully take over.
