The season will run for 18 uninterrupted episodes (barring unavoidable interruptions like presidential addresses).Will Trentwill continue to air on Tuesday nights at 8 pm ET, beforeThe Rookieseason 8, which will air at 9 pm ET. This airing approach “worked like gangbusters” for both procedurals, with ABC looking to continue that streak in 2026.

NewcomerYul Vazquez was introduced in season 3 as Sheriff Caleb, and he is expected to continue playing the role into season 4 as well, especially after the big revelation about him. Caleb started as a somewhat villainous character with a secret, which was revealed to be that he is Will’s biological father. With Will open to exploring a relationship with him, Vazquez’s role is expected to expand in season 4.
